We have come into Singapore's 2nd Monsoon Season - the southwest monsoon season. A bit strange that an island 3.5 times the size of Washington D.C. can have 2 different monsoon seasons on opposite ends of the island. We live on the south side of the island (I think?!) and have been experiencing heavy rainfalls and some pretty loud thunderstorms. The rain stays warm, so it doesn't completely eliminate outdoor activities for us, but it does come down hard and fast, so we most definately get wet! Early morning "Sumatra" squall lines are common. The northeast monsoon season starts in December.
